                                        @@@@@@@@@@@@@@( 2017.11.20 )
[1] Outline

'Tenka_SIE' is software for almost automatic transformation into dotted figures
from (a) some types of graphic files, (b) your drawing on the screen, and
  (c) any character that you can input from keyboard of your PC.
There are 3 following options to deal with a completed Braille figure.

  (1) Save as a sEDL-file
  (2) Save to the clipboard of 'Edel_SIE'
  (3) 3D-Print by 'EasyTactix X80' directly

[2] Co-working with 'EDEL_SIE'

'Tenka_SIE' can work alone. However, if it exists in the same folder in which
'Edel_SIE' is saved, the following co-working of them are possible.

  (1) 'Edel_SIE' can boot up 'Tenka_SIE' to use the functions of 'Tenka_SIE'.
  (2) A dotted figure drawn by 'Tenka_SIE' is copied to clipboard of 'Edel_SIE',

[3] Transformation into dotted figure

@Follow the next steps:

 (1) Orientation and size of paper

You specify them with respective radio buttons. This specify the maximum size
of the area on which 'Tenka_SIE' can make the dotted figure. The followings
represent (Orientation, Nominal paper size --- Number lengths in horizontal and
    in vertical direction).

@@@@@E Portrait, B5 --- 480 ~ 684
@@@@@E Landscape, B5 --- 684 ~ 480
@@@@@E Portrait, A4 --- 600 ~ 900
@@@@@E Landscape, A4 --- 900 ~ 600

@(2) Objects dealt with 'Tenka_SIE'

There are 3 kinds of target which 'Tenka_SIE' can convert into dotted figures.

@@1) Graphic file

'Tenka_SIE' can convert the following 2 types of graphic data into dotted figure.

@@ Bitmap file (*.bmp) / JPEG-file (*.jpeg or *.jpgj

@@ The graphics can be either colored or monochrome, but the one which is drawn
with a black pen on a white background and scanned, or the same type of one drawn
with a paint software like gPainth are the most appropriate. In contrast,
colored pictures are not converted into dotted figures properly.

@@@ Open a graphic file by pressing [Open a graphic file (BMP,JPEG)] button,
or select Menu barmFilen-> [Open a graphic file (BMP,JPEG)].
When the saved picture is displayed, you need to specify the target area by
drawing a rectangle on the picture. Before or after the specification of the
target area, you can specify the orientation and size of paper and scale ratio.

@@2) Figure drawn by yourself

@@@ To draw an original figure, open the Window by pressing [Make a drawing yourself]
button, or select Menu barmFile] -> [Make a drawing yourself].
There are 5 following modes to draw figures.

  @@@ Freehand / Line / Rectangle / Ellipse / Paint

The width of 'pen' can be changed. In 'Paint' mode, when a white area enclosed
with a black curve is left-clicked, it becomes a black area. Right-clicking causes
      the reverse action.
When you press down the "Undo" button, the last operation alone is cancelled.

@@3) Character design

@@@ Press [Load a character design] button, or select Menu bar [File] -> [Load a
character design] to open the Window of the character list. Then specify one
character. The size of the character and the frame is adjustable.

@(3) Control parameters for transforming Braille figure

@@You need to adjust the following parameters.

@@1) Type
There are 3 optional manners for transforming the object image into dotted
figures. You need to select either of the 3.

@@@#1 Line + Shape :
@@@@@@ A line in the original figure is transformed into a dotted line.
And an area pasted uniformly in the original figure is subjected to the
following process. The boundary curve alone is abstracted and the boundary
curve is transformed into a dotted curve.
      #2 Line + Shape + Surface :
A line in the original figure is transformed into a dotted line,
a boundary of a uniformly pasted area in the original figure is into
a dotted boundary, and the inside area is pasted with dots.
      #3 Line + Surface :
A line in the original figure is transformed into a dotted line,
and a uniformly pasted area is pasted with dots uniformly without any
            additional dots representing the boundary.

@@2) Sensitivity
When a picture or a drawing is transformed into Braille figure, the original
is first transformed into a binarized image. The black parts in the binarized
image are the target of the transformation into a Braille figure. The boundary
between the black and white parts is determined according to the "Sensitivity
integral" number between 1~7. It is not so laborious to try all the seven
     sensitivity, and select the best.

@@3) Interval
In the Braille figure to be made, a line is represented with a dotted line
and the interval of dots is specified by "Interval integral" number between 1~10.

@@4) Kind of dot
You can specify the kind( size) of dots used for dotted drawings.

[4] Execute to convert into a dotted figure

After specifications of necessary parameters for converting the target data into
a dotted figure, let press down the button "Execute to convert the picture into
dotted figure". The conversion of the target object begins soon.
You can redo various procession by returning to the Window of "Treat the
binarized image", "convert the character design into a dotted figure" or "Make a
drawing", or by returning to the Main form.

[5] Exchange displays (Redo)

When you click [Screen] in the main menu bar at any time, that is, after you
finish a dotted figure or save it, the display of working area returns back to
the original object (graphic file, drawing or a character design). You can repeat
the similar trial after re-adjusting necessary parameters or re-specify the relevant
area within which part of the original object is subject to the processing of the
  redoing.

[6] Saving and printing of dotted figures

There are 3 following options to deal with a completed Braille figure.

  (1) Save data as a sEDL-file
The saved sEDL-file is opened and edited with 'Edel_SIE'.
Also, if it is read with `EDEL_SIE` as a Component-file, the transfer of the
figures or the combination with other figures will go smoothly.

  (2) Save data to the clipboard of 'EDEL_SIE'
@@@The data saved on the clipboard is transmitted to 'Edel_SIE' after its booting
up or to 'Edel_SIE' having booted up. If you want to use this function, you have
saved both 'Edel_SIE.exe' and 'Tenka_SIE.exe' in the same folder.

  (3) 3D-Print by 'EasyTactix X80' directly
@@ '3D-Print' dialogue box opens. If necessary, specify the number of copies and
the name of the printer to be used. Press [Start to 3D-Print] to start 3D printing.

[7] Help

Let click [Help] -> [How to use 'Tenka_SIE']. It opens this file, "How to use
  Tenka_SIE".
This Help file (Tenka_SIE_Help.txt) is a mere text file, and it can be opened by
any text editor, say, "Notepad", a text editor of Microsoft co.

[8] Exit

'Tenka_SIE' is finished either (a) by clicking [File] ->[Exit] or (b) by pressing
down the [X] button at the real end of the title bar.
