Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora (V. Lemoine ex E. Morren) N. E. Brown is an artificial hybrid of Crocosmia aurea (Pappe ex Hooket) Planchon and Crocosmia pottsii (Macnab ex Baker) N. E. Brown. This plant has been introduced as a garden plant and recently naturalized in many plances of Japan.
