The
screen of TRACK57-64
Playing back a Sample

Please move cursor to the
sample field.
Please select a sample to playback by a data wheel.
Playback of a sample will be begun if [PLAY]
or the [PLAY START] key is pressed.
When the [PLAY] key
is pressed, playback can be begun from the present location.
If the [STOP] key is pressed, playback will stop.
If the
cursor key is
pressed, cursor will move to the sample field.
It returns to the waveform field by a
cursor key.

It is SHIFT+F3(ZOOM OUT) and is zoom out.
It is SHIFT+F4(ZOOM IN) and is zoom
in.
A waveform will be expanded and displayed if [SHIFT]+F5 (RANGE-)
or F6 (RANGE+) key is pressed. (x1,x2,x4,x8,,,x128)
The present
magnifying power is displayed under a track number.

When cursor is in the track
field, if the [WINDOW] key is pressed, the window of a track will
open.

When cursor is in the waveform field, if the [WINDOW] key is
pressed, the window of "GRID Options" will open.

When set to ON, it will
move sounding the sound on cursor, while moving the cursor in the
waveform field by the DATA wheel.
Recording

If the F3(REC SETUPS) key is
pressed, the window of "Record setups" will open.

| Name: | Sample name. (Default is "Take01.02.....") |
| Monitor: | Monitor ON/OFF during recording. |
| MONO: | Time which can be recorded by a monophonic recording. |
| STEREO: | Time which can be recorded by a stereo recording. |

When the [REC]+[PLAY START]
key is pressed, recording is started from 001.01.00. (00:00:00:00)

In [REC]+[PLAY], recording
is started from the present location.
In this case, silence is recorded from 001.01.00 to the present location.
Notes
When the loop of a sequence is ON, recording is automatically
stopped at the end of a sequence.
When a loop is OFF, the recording will continue until you press
the [STOP] key.
And the number of the bar when you actually pressed the [STOP]
key will be set as the new length for the sequence.
[OVER DUB] key does not work.
Moreover, it cannot go to other screens during recording.
Fade-in/out

If the F2(FADE) key is
pressed, [FADE] will become a highlight display and will become
the editing mode of fade-in/out.
FADE mode will be
canceled if F2 (FADE) key is pressed once again.
FADE IN

Please select the area
which carries out fade-in by a DATA wheel, holding F3 (FADE IN)
key.
If the [PLAY] key is pressed, the audition
of fade-in can be performed.
FADE OUT

Please select the area which carries out fade-out
by a DATA wheel, holding F4(FADE OUT) key.
If the [PLAY] key is pressed, the audition
of fade-out can be performed.
Delete of fade-in/out

The data of FADE IN/OUT can
be deleted by a DATA wheel, holding F5 (DELETE) key.

If the F6(FIX) key is pressed, the window
of "Fade in/out fix" will open.

If F5 (DO IT) key is
pressed, the volume of a sample will be changed according to fade
data.
The changed data of
a sample cannot be returned.
Fade data is
recorded on the track 57-64 of a sequence as MIDI EXPRESSON.
INSERT DELETE is possible on a STEP EDIT screen.

Notes
An audio track does not have functions, such as copy, paste, and
move.
The program has the parameter of Q-Link.
There is no program in an audio track.
Therefore, Q-Link does not work in an audio track.
