To measure how people's behavior contributes to the creation and growth of market bubbles, researchers at the California Institute of Technology monitored the brain activity of a group of students while they watched replays of market activity and were instructed to buy, sell or keep their assets. Their findings were published online Wednesday in the journal Neuron.
