Although a sovereign was charged for admission the place was thronged by about 700 spectators, amongst whom were noticed members of both Houses of the Legislature, Government officials, leading racing and coursing men, professional men, and others. The men fought for over two hours, Miller having decidedly the best of it. So far it has resulted in a drawn battle, but it is understood that the men will meet again. After the forty-first round Foley’s friends, seeing that their man was getting the worst of it, rushed the ring and a free fight speedily ensued.
