Bothner is training at Bill Brown’s farm at Garrison, N. Y., while Irslinger is getting himself into shape at the German-American A. C. ジョージ･ボスナーとヘンリー･アースリンガー、中量級と軽重量級の欧州王者が、猛練習をしているのは来たる木曜日にブラウンの体育館にて行われる予定の彼等のレスリング試合に向けてである。ボスナーが練習しているのはニューヨーク州、ギャリソン村のビル･ブラウンの農場にて、一方アースリンガーはドイツ系米国人運動クラブにてその体調を整えている。 Bothner and Irslinger met last month in a handicap match which resulted in a victory for Bothner after one hour of the keenest competition witnessed in this city in several years. Irslinger undertook to throw the American three times within an hour. He failed to secure one fall. The result dissatisfied him and he asked for a return match under more equitable conditions. ボスナーとアースリンガーが先月立ち合ったハンディキャップ戦は我が町に於いて数年の間に目撃された内で最も激しい競技の一時間の後にボスナーの勝利に終わった。アースリンガーはその米国人を一時間の内に三度倒す事を約束していた。彼は一本も決め損ねた。結果に彼は不満でより公平な条件の下での再戦を求めた。 The second bout will go to a finish. Both men have agreed to make 158 pounds for the contest and have posted a substantial forfeit guaranteeing weight and appearance.
