A sample is sliced to arbitrary 2-64, and each is made into another sample.

Each sliced region is assigned to A01-D16 of a pad by the number of slices.
It is assigned in order of a pad A01, A02, and A03 from a left end region.
Therefore, the 5th region will be select if a pad A05 is hit in the state of the above figure.

The start point of the region selected if cursor is moved to the "St" field and a DATA wheel is turned can be adjusted.
The end point of the region selected if cursor is moved to the "End" field and a DATA wheel is turned can be adjusted.

A start point cannot be set over the start point of the region of immediately the left.
Moreover, an end point cannot be set over the end point of the region of immediately the right.
The overlapping region cannot be set.
Therefore, if a start point is changed, the end point of the region of immediately the left will also be changed.
Moreover, if a end point is changed, the start point of the region of immediately the right will also be changed.

When cursor is in the "St" field, a left-hand side region can be selected with cursor button.
When cursor is in the "End" field, a right-hand side region can be selected with cursor button.

If the "Create new program" field is set to "YES" and F5 (DO IT) button is pressed, a new program will be created and the sliced sample will be assigned to pads.
In the case of the above figure, sample from the Sample01-01 to Sample01-12 is assigned to pads A01-A12.

The region selected if F1 (DIVIDE) button is pressed will be divided into two.

If F2 (COMBINE) button is pressed, the region chosen and the End side region will be combined.
