Abstract;
Sec.3: Depressed in London during study stay; Meeting with Prof. Kikunae IKEDA(1864-1936).
He stayed in London to study English literature from year 1902 to 1903. He became disappointed in UK day by day, and also lost interest in literature.
At that time, Prof. Ikeda visited him and lived together 50 days in his lodging. Ikeda helped him to establish identity of Soseki, who was distressed with the difference between east and west culture.

Sec.5: Master of home drama; legal domicile in Hokkaido Writer Saiichi Maruya published shocking article entitle "Soseki Natsume as a draft lodger" on Monthly "Tenbo(prospect) of June 1969. In year 1893, 26 years old Soseki moved his legal domicile from Tokyo to Hokkaido to evade draft. War between Japan and China(Shin) two years after.
The supposition that he suffered greatly for this during the war (1895-1896) from self-reproach as a man of good faith, and to go Matsuyama. He recovered when the war
ended in April 11, 1896. He again fell in fatigue of nerve at London. At the time relation between Japan and Russian was being deteriorating.
In January 1903, Japan and UK formed an alliance, preparing the war.

My Impression; The author was related with Soseki's family with marriage, and he knew some interesting story about Soseki, including his wife, who was said bad wife. Soseki was very sensitive person, and the social situation about "Young master" was well described.
