　Talking of wrestling, “Jujitsu,” the Japanese art of self-defence, as it is described over here, is once more being brought to notice. It had disappeared since Mr. Barton Wright closed his school, some three or four years ago. Then came the wrestling mania and Tani “took on” all comers at the Tivoli, under the management of Apollo the strong man and the two gave several club exhibitions: a school was started, in Golden Square, under the instruction of “Professor” Uyenishi another exponent and one of Mr. Wright’s late instructors, and now I have just received an invitation card for a demonstration to be given, next week, at the Caxton Hall, with Mr. Grainger, Agent-General for South Australia, in the chair. I expect you know all about this anatomical wrestling :―it is a wonderful assistance to small men as an “equaliser,” but the price of efficiency in even the rudiments is many bruised shoulders and sore knees.
